My Life...Transformed from the Inside Out

I gave my life to the Lord in March of 1988. From that point forward, my life began to take a drastic turn...upward!!  I found out that God is so much more than a character in a book called the Bible. He is real, and experiencing the reality of His incredible love for us will change a man forever.  It certainly did me.

As I began to grow in this new life, I heard people talk about how God actually “spoke to them” and “gave them direction for their lives”. I thought that would be pretty cool if He would do that with me, but how does that happen? It almost sounded to me as if God “befriended” them.

The most exciting discovery is that I found this to be truth. We can actually experience a relationship with the Creator of the Universe! We can walk and talk with Him like Adam did at the onset of creation. He desires that from us more than anything....relationship and fellowship.

I think many Christians desire to know God in a greater way. There is a desire for Him to use us. There is a longing to hear His voice, more often, and more clearly. I have come to realize that whatever we give our time to, we become sensitive to. These things actually “speak” to us. When we give ourselves and our time to God, we can expect no less from Him.  He will speak to us, more often, and more clearly.

I believe God has gifted me with an ability to communicate Biblical truths in a simple way. My desire is to put God’s word and principles into practical terms to bring understanding and freedom. God speaks to me in practical terms. I see the Bible in a way that can easily be applied to everyday experiences. I have by no means “arrived”, but I hope the things that I share here will help bring you a greater measure of freedom in your life. Be encouraged, your walk with God can become all you desire it to be!
